Lamya's Poem

Millie Davis, Mena Massoud, Faran Tahir, Raoul Bhaneja, and Aya Bryn Zakarya lend their voices to writer-director Alexander Kronemer's animated film. A young refugee of the Syrian civil war finds solace and inspiration in a book of poetry by Rumi, the famed 13th century Persian poet. The parallelism between their lives (Rumi's homeland was invaded by Mongol warriors) assumes a life of its own in a shared dream world.
