Syrian director Talal Derki returns to his home country to document the daily life of an Islamic extremist family, who he lives with over a period of two years. The family includes father Abu Osama, one of the founders of the Syrian arm of Al-Qaeda, his 13-year-old Osama and Osama's younger brother Ayman.
