This comedy is a parody of Japanese animated films. Told in a faux-documentary fashion, a college student named Kobu catches up with Tanaka, a high school friend who is an otaku , an obsessive fan of Japanese animation. Tanaka converts Kobu to his bizarre world, and the two are determined to become famous creators of anime, or Japanese animation.
