Shepherd: The Story of a Hero Dog

Based on the novel "The Jewish Dog" by Asher Kravitz, this World War II-set film is about a German Shepherd named Kaleb, originally owned by a Jewish family in Berlin. When the Nuremberg Laws impose that Jews cannot own dogs anymore, Kaleb becomes a stray and is separated from his family.
