The Cook, the Thief, His Wife and Her Lover

The bittersweet smell of excess permeates this British black comedy that contains graphic scenes of brutality, bodily functions, sex and cannibalism as it chronicles the bizarre goings on in a posh London restaurant between the four title characters, all of whom are ultimately united by the brutal husband's avarice and propensity for playing head games.
