Co-written and directed by Michael Mailer, this mystery thriller is set in a small southern town where Sheriff Fowler (Morgan Freeman) presides. A stockbroker, Jason (Cole Hauser), meets Delaine (Jaimie Alexander), a seemingly shy waitress in the local diner. Jason and Delaine strike up a fast friendship that turns into a steamy romance. However, trouble begins when they are implicated in a murder. As the sheriff investigates the case, the individual secrets of the couple soon start to unravel.
