Overview

An American reporter arrives in China to investigate the Nanking Massacre amidst rumors that a mysterious assassin is methodically working his way up through the murderous Japanese soldiers on a mission to eliminate a top general. The year is 1937. As the growing unrest in Europe makes headlines across the globe, the Japanese invade China, killing over 300,000 civilians in a brutal act of genocide. Meanwhile, in Beijing, citizens whisper of a lone avenger who is single-handedly decimating the invading army. When an American newsman shows up in China seeking the truth behind all of the bloodshed, his shocking discovery threatens to have devastating repercussions.
