This book is really easy to read and the pictures are great. I wanted to get my 3 yr old daughter a book that would explain the true story of Easter in a way she would understand and enjoy. This book was perfect. The fact that it is a board book was also very important to me for longevity, I wish more children's books came in board format. I let my daughters' Sunday School teacher read it to the children and she said the children from another class (5-7 yr olds) came in because they wanted to hear the story as well. Highly recommend this book!

So glad to find this book! Celebrating Jesus is the whole point of Easter and it is so wonderful to find a book to read to the kids in our family that points to the real celebration! Well done and a quick read through that left the kid readers entertained and educated!

If you're a Christian who is solid in his/her faith, and you want to raise your children to be Christians as well, this is a pretty good introduction to the Easter story and about Jesus' sacrifice for all mankind, and I recommend it. If you don't want to raise your children as Christian, or you want to introduce them to a lot of different religions, then I wouldn't recommend this book to you, as it's more heavily pro-Christian than informative. I'm not really fond of the illustration either, but that's just me not liking that particular style.

This is not a "read to me" storybook. It is okay...but neither of my twins stayed interested. The pictures, I thought were mediocre. The story, although short, lacked anything to keep the attention of a child. Would have paid .99 for it...but NOT worth the nearly $5 I paid for it! Way overpriced.
