About the Author

Tricia Service knew she was a storyteller at an early age when she would captivate the attention of her younger cousins with her vivid imagination and creative storytelling. She dreamed of writing children's books that would teach lessons as well as entertain anyone who reads her work. Tricia is a teacher who lives and works in the Durham region in Ontario, Canada. She likes reading a variety of books to her students, as well as her own children. One of Tricia's interests as a teacher is coaching the junior and senior Battle of the Books team at her elementary school, where she inspires students to read a variety of genres of books and develop a love of reading. Her team ranked first place for her city for three years in the Durham District School Board.
