Emerald Green- Lindsay Marie Miller 5-star review Emerald Green by Lindsay Marie Miller is an unbelievably good story! I devoured this book in one sitting as I couldn’t bring myself to put it down once I started. Emerald Green is the first book in the Murder in Savannah series, a series I can’t wait to read. This story is intense, intriguing, mysterious, unpredictable and dramatic. A well-blended suspenseful storyline that had me sitting on the edge of my seat as the story unfolded. I have read some of Lindsay’s work in the past but this one is by far my favorite. The storyline flowed so well, and I loved all of the detail, from the characters descriptions, their emotions to their surroundings it was all there which made it so easy to picture everything playing out in my mind. I can’t wait to dive right into book 2 to get answers to all of my questions. I would definitely recommend this book to others!

Emerald Green is the first book in Lindsay Marie Miller’s Murder in Savannah series. This is the first book I have read by this writer and I believe it will not be the last! She has a way of spinning the story so that you get lost in the world she has created and you struggle to surface as you have been feeling like living the story along with the characters. Emerald Green is a Young Adult mystery and first love story that is filled with secrets and lies and theses amazing characters that you feel so invested in that you simply are not able to put the book down until you are at the end … How could you as there are reveals and plots and twists everywhere you turn (or turn your page) and you wish for the Happily Ever After. There are three main characters in this story – Addie Smith, Tom Sutton and Ricky Travis at Maple Creek High in Savannah, Georgia. I am not going to tell you who is good and who is not, who is a bully and who is the knight on the white tarnished horse, the only thing I am going to tell you is that no matter what your age, if you like intricate puzzles, this is a book for you! Personally, I am looking forward to the next book in the series and I am curious to see where the writer will take us this time!

Emerald Green: A Mystery Thriller Romance (Murder in Savannah Book 1) by Lindsay Marie Miller is a Young Adult story about secrets, lies and young love. This is my first story by this author and I enjoy it from beginning to end. Her writing style is creative and detailed. Her characters are just as creative and will keep you engaged until the end. This story kind of brought me back to my high school years with a jock who thinks he can do no wrong, a cute boy who is down to earth and a young girl who has a troubled home life. Together they create a story that is free flowing and has twists and turns that will leave you sitting on the edge of your seat. The ending to their story will shock you and leave you hanging. This is the story of Addie and Tom. Their story starts with Addie dreaming of Tom and then she meets him at school. Their story continues when Addie receives a letter about a mysterious necklace. Will this mysterious letter put her in danger? Will Tom come to her aid? Addie's character has not had the best of home life. She has been ignored and only recognized when she has done something wrong. But on the flip side everyone has someone who is there for them and in her case this was Daniel. I have compassion for her as she is just trying to get through life and life keeps throwing things at her. Will Tom be her hero? Is it possible that they can find their HEA? The only character I didn't care for was Ricky, the jock. He is not very nice to Addie and thinks he is every girls dream. At times it seems that he is flirting with her and other times it felt like bullying. But at least she has Tom to come to her aid and defend her with Ricky. Tom is the cute boy who seems to have it together. He is there for Addie because he wants to be. Will he continue to be there for her when she needs him? You will have to read this story in order to find out what happens with these three. I highly recommend this story as it will keep you reading until the last page. Find out what happens to Addie and the rest when lies and secrets are revealed!

I received a free e-copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review. This book was all kinds of amazing. It was written beautifully and I loved every word of it. It was captivating and interesting and beautiful. To set the scene, Addie is at a school dance that her school holds each year. A few things happen that make her leave earlier than expected. Then she has a dream about a terribly handsome young man and she can’t get him out of her head…until one day, she sees a boy in her school that looks exactly like him. His name was Tom Sutton and was new to the school. Addie is really drawn to him and she does not know why. Throughout the story, Addie uncovers some secrets about her past that leaves many more of her questions unanswered. Who is she and who is Tom Sutton and why is she so drawn to him. This book was actually really good. I expected it to be good… but I did not expect it to be that good. I felt that there were some parts in the beginning of the book that seemed a little dull…which made me not read the book for 3 days. Then, I picked up the book again and did not stop reading until I was finished. Oh it was good. Sooo good! There were characters in this book that just helped make the story as good as it was. I found that the main character Addie was well thought out and very relatable. She is your average girl who has workaholic parents and was always alone at home. She has a lot of depth. I did not find her to be a damsel in distress. She was amazing and not like any character I’ve read about. I really loved her. I also loved Tom…obviously. Who wouldn’t? Hahha. The story was very interesting. It was captivating and thrilling and had me at the edge of my seat a few times. Miller just dives right into her story from page one. This book had everything: suspense, thrill and romance. Don’t get me started on the romance. Swoon worthy romance that made me blush and all tingly. This book held so many surprises. So many twists and turns and an ending I was not expecting…an ending that left me in tears. This book was a really really good book and I was not disappointed at all. I loved Miller’s writing. It was very easy to understand and I just love how her words just flowed together. All in all, Emerald Green was a really good book and a promising start to an epic series. I really hope to read the other books in this series. I.Can’t. Wait. I hope y’all found my review helpful and hope you start reading soon!
