About the Author

Thomas M. Schulz received his undergraduate degree in 1963 from Western Michigan University in Education, Sociology and Group Social Studies. Tom attended law school at Wayne State University School of Law in Detroit, Michigan and the University of San Fernando California Law College. He interned at the Stribley and Rude Law firm in Muskegon, Michigan. Schulz has lectured at Columbia University, Michigan State University, University of Michigan and Eastern Michigan University dealing with Human Resource Management, Career Development and Management Training subjects. He taught Human Resource Management in college and has also taught Psychology and Sociology. After academia, Schulz entered the business world in Detroit, Michigan progressing from Interviewer Trainee through the Human Resource ranks to the Director and Vice President of Human Resources levels. He has experience dealing with employment, compensation and benefits, affirmative action, employee relations, training and assessment, management outplacement, policy formation, and administration. In 1975 Tom started Schulz Personnel Services in Michigan and, in 1977, moved to Wisconsin. In Wisconsin he founded a second company, the All Star Employment Network, LLC in 1999 serving as Chairman of the Board and CEO. His vast experiences "on both sides of the employment desk" provide the unique inside views of employment decisions. Today, the All Star Employment Network, LLC and Schulz Personnel service both the National and International employment markets.
