Although at times heart-wrenching, this was a really enjoyable story. There were a couple coincidences that seemed a little farfetched and it was pretty easy to guess how the story was going to end, but overall a good book. The book kept a good pace so there weren’t any “slow parts” and I enjoyed almost all the characters, even the ones who weren’t very likable. I definitely recommend this book.
Fabulous!!! I stayed up many late nights reading this book...didn't want to put it down. I became a part of Catharine's life, sharing her challenges and hopes in finding her child. Erika Liodice brought the characters to life, entwining their lives so masterfully and such a fabulous twist in the end...I loved it. I'll be keeping a watch for her next book.
Once I started reading Empty Arms, I couldn't put it down. The story is compelling and the novel is beautifully written. I'm very excited to read more from Erika Liodice in the future!
