I enjoyed this charming Regency Romance. It has a dashing hero, damsel in distress, obnoxious villain, and yummy romantic goodness. I loved the way Hunter came to Rose's rescue. Hunter and Rose are both likeable characters and easy to cheer for. I enjoyed watching them prevail against Wolfe. She is a poor seamstress who refuses help as she is too proud. He wants to help her but she will not let him. She is being hounded by another man who wants to take everything from her. As it gets worse she finally turns to him for help. Can he help her? Can she see him for who he is rather than what he is? See if she can I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Reviewed by Caitlyn Lynch for Readers' Favorite Enchanted By The Earl is a charming Regency-era romance. Author Amanda Mariel has created an extremely likeable pair of protagonists in Hunter and Rose, an honourable earl and a young seamstress being blackmailed into marriage by a man she despises. Hunter's wrestling with himself, trying to deny his growing attraction to and fondness for Rose, was particularly well-written and believable. He's definitely the kind of hero I'd love to see more of in Regency romances; I'm not fond of the 'reformed rake' trope and Hunter was about as far from that as it is possible to get. With the book being a Regency ‘take’ on the Little Red Riding Hood story as well, the villain, Mr Wolfe, certainly lived up to his name, adding a very believable element of urgency to the narrative. Enchanted By The Earl is well-written and thoroughly edited. I would describe it as a 'sweet' romance; there is no hint of sex, even with the villain attempting to abduct Rose to a forced marriage. I did find it a little bit of a stretch that an earl would marry his sister's seamstress without even considering a solution other than marriage first, but that didn't diminish my enjoyment of the story, and if you like 'clean' Regency romance, this is definitely the story for you! I enjoyed the minor characters in the story – Hunter’s sister, Lady Julia, was particularly delightful in her efforts to match Hunter and Rose together. I’d enjoy seeing more of Hunter and Rose’s story and I hope that Amanda Mariel chooses to revisit the couple in her future writings!

Enchanted By The Earl by Amanda Mariel is a fairly short historical romance, a good choice for those with limited time for reading. Ms Mariel has delivered a well written book with lovable characters. Rose and Hunter's story is full of drama, suspense and just a little spice. This book could be read by almost any age. I enjoyed Enchanted By The Earl and look forward to reading more from Amanda Mariel in the future. Enchanted By The Earl is book 1 of the Fabled Love Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.
