Escorting the Actress by Leigh James

He was my party-boy billionaire stepbrother...
Now he's my disinherited, sexy escort? FML!
Kyle: She was my geeky, brace-faced stepsister. Now she's a stunning Hollywood actress. And she just became a client at the upscale escort agency where I work. Things might finally be looking up.
Lowell: I had a PR disaster on my hands. I needed a pretend boyfriend--so I called the escort service. But then stepbrother bad boy showed up. Now I'm all sorts of screwed. Or wishing I was. Wait--I take that back! I take it back!
Kyle: My powerful father will do anything to keep me away from Lowell, including dangling my fortune in front of me. But I just might be more interested in what my sexy ex-stepsister has to offer. That is, if I can convince her to give it to me.

This is a standalone romantic comedy that puts the "fun" in dysfunctional family. You don't have to read the other books in The Escort Collection to enjoy this one, but you totally should!

About the Author

Leigh James is a USA Today bestselling author of contemporary romance. She is a vocal lover of strapping Alpha males in movies, books and real life, which makes her three kids roll their eyes and makes her husband feel appreciated. When she's not writing, you can usually find her reading or watching Outlander, Game of Thrones, and Vikings (see penchant for Alpha males, above). She has a degree in journalism from the University of New Hampshire (which is good for deadlines and word counts) and a law degree from Suffolk University School of Law (which sounds good in her author bio).

Enjoyed it....!!!!!!!!

I have read three of the four books in this series and liked this one the best..... The story lines are not original yet I enjoyed them... The characters were pretty "standard issue" but I liked them and/or hated them as I was supposed to.. These books are what I call "light fare"... I read a lot and sometimes I just need something I can whip through without having to think too hard about plot, interactions and outcome... To that extent I enjoyed this books and consumed each in a single sitting although they were each 200+ Nook pages... If you want something with a predictable HEA, sex scenes that won't fry your ears and yarns that are well put together you will enjoy this series... Hard not to like a fun easy read when you need one... Think I will go buy the fourth one.

Rromantic comedy and a good read. She, the actress, had a meltdown and of course someone caught it on their phone and posted it. So, now she needs to clean up her act fast if she is not to be replaced in a film which will bring back her career. She agrees to hire an escort but she is not told his name. He needs to clean up his act. He partied and drank through his inheritance - millions of dollars worth. Now, that he is broke he must clean up his act and becomes a high priced escort. His assignment surprises him when he learns who he will be escorting - none other than a former step-sister. Both he and she could not stand each other when their parents were married. When they face each other for the first time in years, it is not hearts and flowers -- closer to burning oil and boiling water. So, are they mature enough to help each other out? Yes, it is a fun story to read.

I enjoyed the story line and the flow of the plot I gave a four star rating because of the occassional use of the "f" word; as no one I know uses this word in real life, I do not see the need for it's use in all forms of entertainment
