Overview

About the Author

Annalee Adams was born in Ashby de la Zouch, England. She began The Celestial Rose series while at the University of Derby. Annalee spent much of her childhood engrossed in fictional stories. Starting with teenage point horror stories and moving on up to the works of Stephen King and Dean Koontz. However, her all-time favorite book is Lewis Carrolls, Alice in Wonderland. Which explains her mindset quite well.

Annalee wrote her first published piece, a poem, as a teenager in high school. After which her short story about a werewolf on the Yorkshire moors was published in the college newspaper. Since then she continued to write for her own pleasure until her first book 'Eternal Entity' was released. Her second book 'Eternal Creation' was released in May and her third book Eternal Devastation is due in July.

Annalee Adams lives in the UK with her supportive husband, two fantastic children, little dog, and kitten. She's a lover of long walks on the beach, strong cups of tea and reading a good book by candlelight.

"The second book in this series does not fail to deliver.

Taylor discovers who she is and what her purpose is in life. With this comes an extra sense of responsibility and points at which she must acknowledge where she may have done things better in her past. Now she needs to fix things. With Lilith back on the scene and causing chaos wherever her minions go, Taylor is put through some of the most mentally torturous trials to date. Fortunately, we also get to see her have some better times too. The band of friends is reunited and they all come together to fight for the cause of removing Lilith once and for all, but the best-laid plans often fail.

This book is equally as action-packed as the first book (Eternal Entity) and the original merry band is back together, which makes me very happy indeed. Having Lucian's point of view was useful in moving the plot along, and it was also nice to finally hear his voice. Then there is the addition of new characters such as Lilith and her grotesque gang. I love Lilith. She is twisted and manipulative and you can't help but wonder what kind of horror she's going to turn her hand to next as she is so damn funny (in a purely warped way, of course). Add in Elysium and the Angels and you have the perfect set up for a war of epic proportions. The plot and imagery are both strong in Eternal Creation, as they are in the first book. It's very easy to visualise all of (often messed up) places that the characters find themselves. Another great cliffhanger ending to this one too.

I'm very much looking forward to the next book in the series."

Just ask my cat who enjoyed a nice nap on my back while I sprawled out on the couch! There is so much that I want to say but I can't because it will be spoiler city! Go and buy Eternal Entity, this book, and pre-order Eternal Devastation. It's been a long time since I've been so excited about reading a series and this one has me wishing Eternal Damnation was on my Kindle right now so that I could read it!"
