About the Author

I have not always been a picture perfect state of calm and, even now, as a busy mom of twins, I still have some super stressful days! However, I used to be ultra stressed all the time, and that meant I had a very short fuse. My family often suffered because of my stress. I would lash out at the first person that I encountered.

However, when I was taken ill, and a physician diagnosed stress as the root cause, I knew I had to find a solution to my problem.

I began to take stress seriously and discovered that meditation, massage, journaling and recreational reading were great ways for me to diffuse built up stress. There are also other techniques that I use regularly to help me to get my stress under control. I share these techniques, and more in this book.
