Was this a joke? It started out good then just turned completely ridiculous. She's an idiot and he's a douche. They got what they deserved.

I had to give it 1 star in order to write this. Otherwise...it would be a 0. The writing style is elementary and the dialog is cliche. Does this publisher have standards?

Good plot, but the writing needs work. Dialog especially.

Reviewed by Crystal Book provided by the publisher for review Review originally posted at Romancing the Book Jennifer doesn’t ever do anything her parents wants her to. She doesn’t hang around the people they want her to. She is a woman that has curves and her parents wants her to lose weight. She just wants to live her life the way she wants and spent time with her best friend. She goes to Patrick Thompson’s house to a party and just wants the get away. All that changes when Patrick and Jennifer see’s each other. Sparks fly and it becomes a night of passion in the garden. I loved this story and thought that everything was going good. I just knew this couple was meant to be. That is until Patrick becomes a butthole and something drastic happens. I seen myself start to tear up. I was really feeling the emotions then. I was mad at Patrick and couldn’t see myself getting over that any time soon. As the story went I seen my opinion change. That is what happens when a man starts growing up. I couldn’t wait to see what the ending of the book would be like. I wanted the book to just keep on going because it just seemed so real to me. To say I got caught up in this book is an understatement. I could just see this happening in real life and I feel so in love with the characters and the storyline. I just didn’t like their parents all that much. This story just shows you what happens when your parents try to run your life and won’t let you do what you think is best. It’s hard to have a relationship with someone you really don’t know. You need time to let the feelings grow and to become stronger. I am going to have to find another book to read to come down from the feeling I have right now. This is one story that I would recommend. Only read it if you love stories that can really happen in real life. Nothing is ever a bed of roses all the time.
