Explicitly Yours is the follow up novella to The Boy Friend. Explicitly Yours is told from dual points of view and is the conclusion that fans have been waiting for. Now, since this book is a novella, I’m going to keep this review short and sweet. I don’t want to spoil anything! So, what can I tell you about Explicitly Yours? I can tell you that it is the conclusion that fans of Cori and Dean have been waiting for. Follow Cori and Dean as they enter a new chapter in their life. These two love birds couldn’t be happier with the way things turned out. But, leave it to fate to throw a few more surprises their way. Cori and Dean have a love that can withstand any obstacle, so for this little novella, all I’m gonna say is sit back and enjoy the ride…. Explicitly Yours was a super quick read for me. I loved getting to spend a little more time with Cori and Dean and seeing the rest of their story play out. Their little novella hits all the marks and is just the quick read I was looking for.

Received an ARC at no cost to author on behalf of Enticement Journey Book Promotions. This was a fairly short story on Dean and Cori and courtship. We are counting down the days til the wedding. Dean loves Cori, and sometimes he freaks out a little in regards to her wanting a baby, but he is scared that she would call the wedding off. Cori loves Dean but she still wants a baby and is a little worried that he is still not there.. What happens...You need to read..Enjoy!

Explicitly Yours by Mika Jolie Rated 5 Stars! This book is Da Bomb! It’s a great follow up to The Boy Friend! There are plenty of chuckles, happiness and a few tears in this story. It is mostly told from Deans point of view (which I love). How often do we get to read books from the males perspective. Not often. This one is a slam dunk that is hit out of the ball park! Ha ha I can’t say enough good things about Dean! He really has changed since getting Cori. (All of it in a good way! ) Seriously his internal dialogue is the best! I LOVE being in his head! He is funny, serious, has an great point of view and completely honest and his love for Cori is out of this world! I would LoVE to tell you some of my favorite parts....but I don’t want to spoil anything for you! But I promise...the more you read the better Dean gets! Ok there are other people in this book other than Dean and Cori. I feel I should mention a few of them. His friends Luc and Cam make a couple great appearances. I enjoy their relationship with Dean. Each of their parents are around but Deans dad has some amazing advice about picking battles during wedding planning! I would think it could be used during other times of wedded bliss. Also the beginning of each chapter has some great sound advice! (If you are looking for some) OMG Dean just keeps getting better and better the more I read! I almost just swooned! Really!? I’m not sure if that’s a thing but I was in awe of what he just did!! ( OK—Seriously I felt like this a couple times throughout the book because Dean is so awesome) I like the many many different ways the author describes the color or Cori’s eyes. I think my fav is Dark-cinnamon....I don’t think I have ever heard that before. I wonder can I put that on my drivers license?? Mika Jolie is one of my favorite authors (basically a one-click chick) and she has outdone herself with this book! This lady is so talented! Even though it’s a novella it still elicited many emotions out of me. (I had chills more than once! ) The way she writes....it just speaks to your soul! Reading one of her books is so exciting but also sad. I want to read-read-read until I finish but on the other hand I don’t want to finish because then it’s over :( This will be a book that goes on my re-read shelf! Thanks To Mika Jolie for introducing us to Dean and Cori! Dean says this to Cori: I love you more than there are stars in the sky and fish in the sea

Explicitly Yours: A Platonically Complicated Novella by Mika Jolie is the second book to her The Boy Friend book. This story can be read as a standalone but I highly suggest you read the first book first so that you won't get any spoilers first. This is a romantic comedy story that will leave you laughing one minute and feeling compassion the next. I loved this conclusion to this author first book! Her writing skills are such that she will pull you in from the first word and keep you engaged until the very end. I couldn't put this book down and read it in one sitting! Her attention to details made me feel like I was right there with the characters. This is the conclusion of Coriander and Dean. Their story is told in both of their point of view which I loved, you get to see how they are both feeling right before they take the plunge. You get to see their anxiety and nervousness right before the big day. But when a surprise shows up, will it end their magical day or will they find their HEA? Coriander finds herself visiting her parents that she has not seen in a long time but will that raise issues with her and Dean? The secondary characters, family and friends, will leave you laughing just as much as these two did. They are supportive and loving which is great to see in secondary characters. If you love wedding stories, this book is for you! You won't regret picking up this book! I highly recommend this story, I know you will want to see what happens to Coriander and Dean and the twist that lays inside this story that could make or break them.
