Rogol starts "when I read case studies... in business school. Yawn." - hilarious! Rogol keeps a witty and sharp sense of humor throughout this book and really makes you think about the theory of explosive growth and negative network effects. Using real-life examples, images and graphs, Rogol describes how negative network effects will change the world as we know it within 1,000 days. Rogol states "similar to asphyxiation, a negative network effect may lead to a painful death from declining volume." I was left with my brain spinning, and had a tremendous desire to apply this theory to happenings within my day-to-day life. Very intriguing read!
