Where to begin. I loved this version. Having read Fallen Crest Family and knowing this is the alternate version of it, I'm glad she decided to go with the other version. With that being said, I got to read and get Sam, Mason and Logan back in my head. I also liked that we got to see more vulnerable sides of Mason and Logan. I was getting kind of confused with all the Elite backstabbing etc. boy Adam was a much bigger d*ck in this book and I thought he was just an ass in the others. I was just happy to be able to read another Tijan book even if it was just an alternate version of one already written. It was like getting in Tijan's head and seeing how things could have worked out, had different scenarios played a different way. If you intend to read this, make sure you read the original series first.

love the book, the characters, the story line. Only reasons i gave it a 4 instead of a 5 is because the sex scenes and romance could be a little bit more it always fades off like we are adults you should be able to write like one

I'm glad this was the ALTERNATE VERSION. I like the real one way better. But it was good.

So I read this & I'm very glad Tijan went with FC Family. This would have completely changed the story & she could have ended the series at the end of the book. My favorite part was when Logan's feelings for Sam were cleared up. I really hope that Tijan doesn't pull the three of them into a love triangle and drag it out. Or have Logan & Sam hook up. Would ruin the whole series in my opinion. I kept having to remind myself that none of this "happened" while reading. I gave 3 stars simply because Family is my preference. PS B&N needs to get with it & offer ALL your books!
