A provocative tale about a career Army Chaplain who asserts that an angel of death has come to claim him, but which one --"Gabe", an apparent angel of light, or "Lucifer", the dark side of the coin? A psychiatrist assumes the angels to be a traumatic reaction to the horrors the priest has seen in three wars but, in a surprise twist, he learns the truth in a way he doesn't expect.

About the Author
Matt Sorensen is, of course, a pseudonym. It's taken from his grandfather's first name (Matthias) and his grandmother's maiden name (Sorensen). They were proud, hardworking Danish immigrants like the ones talked about in chapter 5 of his book "In the Bowl of Night." The man behind the mask was born in 1933, served in the Navy more years ago than he cares to remember and writes factual information under his real name. As a fiction writer, he prefers to remain anonymous. It's easier to dodge the rotten tomatoes that way.
