******I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review for Nerd Alert Book Love Blog****** Who does not want a little more Kiersten,  Wes,  Gabe, Saylor,  and Lisa? If you have not read Ruin and Toxic yet, stop now and yo read them!! Fearless is not a stand alone, it is a continuation of an amazing series. "...I love you. My heart's been yours since the minute you needed it to beat for you..." Wes Michels is ready to start really living life now that he has been granted a second chance at living. He is ready to be crazy, impulsive, and daring and he wants Kiersten to be right there with him.  "...You stopped my heart the day I met you - restarted it- and gave it a new rhythm.  You are my heart..." Kiersten loves Wes, he is her everything,  her soulmate, her forever. But she is still struggling with the fact that she came close to losing him. It consumes her at times to the point of being rendered frozen.  "...I don't feel complete when I look at you but like a total mess of emotions,  like I have no control over anything except for the fact that I know with a fierce determination that you were made for me and I was made for you..." Can Wes surprise Kiersten and get her to agree to his impulsive and crazy idea? Can Wes help Kiersten come to terms and move past her fears of almost losing him forever?  Can they both live and love each other together fearlessly?   "...You are more rare than the rarest of jewels. I'd search the world for you. If I lost you, if you lost me, I'd never stop searching. ..for the gift, for you, not the King, but the treasure is you..." Rachel Van Dyken has completely done me in again. This novella is truly a beautiful,  soul touching work of art. Wes is truly one of the most incredible male characters ever written.  Not only does Wes make you love him but he makes you fall in love with the whole idea of love. This story also gives you more Gabe. Wes may make you feel the truest most beautiful side of love but Gabe makes you laugh and enjoy the flirty side. Rachel also gives you more of a glimpse into Lisa's life and story and she leaves you in anticipation for the next book coming this summer. This is truly one of the best series ever written and I give it a Nerd Alert A++ or 5 stars!

I Received a ARC for a Honest Review! Such a beautiful conclusion to Wes and Kiersten's love story. Wes is so romantic and loving! I felt so happy to be part of Wes and Kiersten's wedding. It was absolutely perfect how it happened. I loved how the rest of our favorite characters from the Ruin series were incorporated into the book. It is a great build up to what Lisa's upcoming story will be about. Way to go Rachel! Another amazing book to add to your collection!

Just buy this book already!!!! I received an ARC of Fearless in exchange for an honest review. This was not the ending to Wes and Kierstens story. Fearless was the beginning of the rest of their lives. Like the rest of the series, this novella had me in tears, but they were happy tears. In Fearless, we see more of Wes and Kiersten and the rest of the gang. Too many sweet things happened in this novella to tell you about. Their story was so touching, and I can't think of characters who deserve a happily ever after more than Wes and Kiersten. If I could find a man who talks to me like Wes does to Kiersten, I'd be in heaven. The way the start of Lisa's story was woven in is making me salivate at getting Shame. It was wonderful, fantasmic, awesomesauce. If you are reading this, that means that you aren't reading Fearless yet, GET ON IT!

Fearless will leave you speechless and in awe. I can't find any perfect words to describe how perfect Wes and Kiersten's love story is. Wes being the man of metaphors and ultimate wisdom and Kiersten who is such a sweet pea, and the perfect girl for Wes. No words written in this novella can be thrown in the trash. Actually, you will find out in the end that you have highlighted almost everything in the book. Guilty party here. Rachel exposed her wisdom, whether owned or learned, through her characters. Rachel Van Dyken spoke through Wes. I never had a difficulty understanding Wes' wise words because I can totally picture them coming from the author's mouth and brain and heart. The Ruin series is too personal to me--- too close to my heart.  I also adored the little sneak peeks into the third book which will be about Lisa, Kiersten's roommate and Gabe's best friend. What a way to excite the readers! Ruin is the series you will never want to end. You would want it to keep going and going because it isn't just fiction, it speaks life. PS You are always remembered Uncle JoBob.

Fearless is a beautiful romantic novella that continues Wes and Kiersten’s story which began in Rachel Van Dyken’s Ruin. Wes and Kiersten have been through so much, now it is time to embark on their happily ever after. While told mainly from Wes and Kiersten’s point of view, we also get a couple of chapters from Lisa and a glimpse of what’s to come in Lisa’s story, Shame, the next book in the series. The wonderful relationships between the four friends – Gabe, Wes, Kiersten and Lisa—are highlighted throughout this brief book and you can feel how much they have all come to care for each other. Sweet, romantic words flow through the story – from the quotes that begin each chapter to the dialogue that just wraps its way around your heart and squeezes tight. But Rachel also steps it up a notch in this novella with the chemistry and sexual tension between Wes and Kiersten. We get to see a feisty side to Kiersten, who manages to push the always calm, cool Wes to lose control. Their relationship has certainly matured in Fearless and will have you breaking out the fan as they celebrate that strong connection.  In true RVD fashion, in the span of just 100 pages, she takes you from laughter to tears, from hot and sexy to the unknown and damaged. While this book may be short and sweet it packs an emotional punch and leaves you with a headful of quotes. While the first two books in the series, Ruin and Toxic, can both be read as standalones, Fearless reads best if you are already acquainted with Wes and Kiersten. If you were a fan of Lamb and Wolf in Ruin then I recommend this tasty morsel that Rachel gives us of their relationship. You will not be disappointed! I received an ARC of Fearless from the author in exchange for my honest review.

It was exactly what it needed to be....the perfect continuation of Wes and Kiersten's story with just enough of Lisa's past revealed to intrigue me!! Well and of course.....to want more. Now I know that that will happen with the next book in the series, Shame, I'm so excited for its release!! Rachel's books are must reads!!

What a beautiful novella to share in such a special moment with Wes and Kiersten! Every time I think Wes can't get any sweeter, I swear RVD pulls something out of her hat. She must have a wonderful muse! ;)  Seriously though, you can't help but fall deeper into this story line. The quotes that started off each chapter were so touching and heart-warming. They really added to the overall tone of the book. I'm pretty sure my copy will be completely highlighted! Oh, and way to freaking go Gabe! The "story" was perfect! That scene really brought out every single feeling on the spectrum - you will definitely laugh and cry.  Overall, so Rachel hit it out of the park again! With the exception of Lisa, there is no real character development but that's not what this one is about. It's totally about Wes and Kiersten and their wedding day. I loved every single word and couldn't put it down. Now I'm even more excited and anxious to hear Lisa's story and absolutely can't wait!

I read Ruin and fell head over heels in love with Wes Michels and his way with words. I didn't think it possible to love him more than I already did. Then I read Toxic and fell in love with how great of a friend he was to Gabe. Finally in Fearless we get to see Wes and Kiersten get their Happy Ever After. I can't even begin to explain all of the feels that I got while reading this. Wes says/thinks the most perfect things. And the three rings he gives to Kiersten, his explanation for each ring was just, wow. It was seriously one of the most romantic moments I've ever read. I love that we still got a little bit from Gabe and that the stage was set for what we have to look forward to in Lisa's book. I cannot wait for her story and for more glimpses of Gabe & Saylor and Wes & Kiersten. *I received an ARC from the author/publisher in exchange for an honest review

I fell in love with Wes and Kiersten in the first book Ruin, was teased a little by them in Toxic and now their story is complete in Fearless. With all of the challenges that they face they never waver or doubt. His heart beats for her and hers for him. We all should be more Fearless in our lives. This series fell into my lap when I needed it the most. I think we all have the Woe as Me moments and I was having a big one when I read Ruin. Having survived two major brain surgeries and thriving I am going to take a page out of Rachels books and continue to cherish every moment of every day. Rachel, you pulled at my heart strings once again a reminded me of whats important in life.

This one didn't cut it for me. There was just a bit too much that I couldn't quite believe or see these guys doing. Kiersten in particular just seemed quite out of character several times, and I just didn't like her as much. Towards the end, the author starts to set up Lisa's story - which is fine - but I don't really like how she did it. I think it should have just been left to her own book so we can experience it all at once. This was a little novella that just didn't seem to fit very well.

Fearless for me was the perfect cherry on top of the sundae moment to wrap up the beauty of Wes and Kiersten's relationship. I got an amazing wedding planned by the unbelievably romantic Wes along with insight into Lisa's past that will transition us to her story and boy, there is a lot of mystery there. There is a splash of Gabe and Saylor - all the right elements to wrap up this amazing journey. Beautifully done, Rachel Van Dyken!

FEARLESS carries forward of the RUIN series. It’s a short read. It tells how two RUIN characters, Wes and Kiersten, consummate their love and commitment in marriage. Wes has come back from the very brink of death, which makes his marriage to Kiersten doubly precious and miraculous. In this story, we get to hear both their voices and viewpoints. There’s the voice of another character too, someone watching Wes and Kiersten’s happiness, wishing them well, feeling outside the charmed circle of happiness, wondering what the future holds. As the story unfolds, one gets a taste of the preciousness of life and the fragility of happiness, yet one doesn’t love life any the less for all that. This is a must read for followers of this series and fans of Rachel Van Dyken’s writing. Van Dyken’s writing literally punches you in the gut. Raw, honest and heartfelt. Reading this book was a moving experience. I received a review copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Maria, Romance Book Haven

3.5 stars Confession: I read this before I read Toxic. Oops. In my defense, I loved Ruin so much, that I just couldn't wait to get more of Wes! I liked this little novella. It was sweet. And I have to say that I re-read it after reading Toxic. I thought maybe my feelings would change a bit if I re-read it, but I felt the same. I enjoyed it, but I didn't get the same fluttery feeling as I did in Ruin.  What didn't work for me: There honestly wasn't anything in particular that didn't work. It just didn't wow me, I guess.  What did work for me: Wes Michaels. Every day. All day. He is one of the best book boys out there.  Overall, I think this was a sweet addition to the series. I do love Wes and Kiersten and I was happy to see their story move forward too. It's always fun to get updates on favorite couples. It also got me super excited for Shame!  Quote: ~"Kiersten..." I brushed a kiss across her lips. "You stopped my heart the day I met you-re-started it-and gave it a new rhythm. You are my heart. So yeah, I think it worked."-Loc 392

I enjoyed this book though it was not what I expected. I thought it would be more about Wes & Keristen. At times it even got alittle too mushy for me. Don't get me wrong it was sweet and loving but somewhat too much. If you read Ruin then I recommend you read this book. It finishes the story.

5 Stars for Wes Ok, once again I want to share my love for Van Dyken's writing. Her writing is amazing and she coaxes emotion from you seemingly effortlessly. I loved Wes and Kiersten's story in Ruin so how can one not love the story of their wedding.  Overall, I loved everything except for the wedding venue itself, every other aspect was amazing. I mean, I totally get it, and I loved the sentiment, but still. "Where we thought we may see the end-" "-we write 'The Beginning.'" I finished.  And Wes' vows--OMG kill me now. "We don't know what's gong to happen, but I can make a promise to you right now. Your hand's going to be in mine the entire time."  I am excited that the series will continue, I presume based on the snippets of Lisa's story. Can't wait for the magic of this series to continue.

I really liked the first book, second wasn't that good but this one was too boring. Should've been put as one extra chapter in the new book. Disappointed

This is a continuation of Wes and Kiersten's story. Not to give too much away, but Wes is tired of waiting to marry Kiersten. He knows he told her a year to the day of his surgery they would wed...but Wes is impatient to make Kiersten his. This is a short cute novella about Wes and Kiersten facing the rest of their lives. You get a peek into Gabe and Saylor and Lisa's lives and what is happening with them. There is also a sneak peek into what Lisa's story will be like. It's a perfect continuation to a heart warming story.
