Intrigue, suspense, and romance. What’s not to love. Well thought out and complete. It doesn’t leave you wondering what happens.

The story is a MUST READ from cover to cover, page by page. Word for word. its one that's hard to put down and really easy to read. It's not like other Mafia romance stories this one was way different, but different in a really great way. made me think of the mafia family in a whole different light. I really enjoyed how the characters shined in this story and became one. I also enjoyed the author's writing it's out of this world amazing. I was hooked right from the start, I really couldn't but this story down for anything. ***I received this story for free in exchange for an honest review, see more of my review @ ***

Dante Marcellos = Ambitious, handsome, predestined New York Italian future mob boss whose only fear is marriage. A fear he must live through since he is required to marry in order to become head of the Marcello Costa Nostra. Catrina Danzi = Strong, self-reliant, gorgeous Sicilian/half-American Queen Pin to the upscale/elite with a dark past and a precious secret she is willing to sacrifice everything to protect. She makes Dante an offer too good to refuse. Nickname: The Queen. What do you get when you unite these two characters? A marriage made in Mafioso heaven. Having read Lucian’s story first, I jumped right into Dante’s. Even though the Filthy Marcellos books are standalones and would likely be even better if read in order, I simply was too hooked after reading Chapter 1 of Dante to wait and see how this “business arrangement to lovers” relationship would turn out. Bethany-Kris did not disappoint. Right from the start, Catrina proved herself as Dante’s equal in all things Marcellos…business and family wise. Dante, who always kept his feelings well-hidden, was no match for his queen. She saw through his tough exterior into his vulnerable side and helped him in ways he never even realized he needed. If you have read The Russian Gun series, you know this author is a master at writing mafia romance. The Filthy Marcellos series continues to prove it. The analogies she uses 50% into the story when Dante admits to Lucian how it felt to fall for his queen were so romantic..”I’m not like you or Gio. I’m me and this took time to happen. You were like a dried forest and Jordyn was your fire. One gust of wind and you went up in flames. There was no stopping it. Cat and I were not the same. She was a wave and I was the shore. Her effects came in slow rushes, building up strength. When it did crash into me and I realized what happened, it was too late because she took me straight out with her. And I f—ing drowned.”…(long sigh)….Can I get a second on that emotion?.... The hints dropped at the beginning that only Catrina and her entourage knew the real reason she needed to marry Dante set the stage for a suspenseful story. Since the reader learns the big secret before Dante, the plot starts to feel like a ticking time bomb. An action packed ending brings their steamy, romantic tale to a close but with a lengthy epilogue that takes you several years into the future. My review concludes with a strong recommendation you live a little on the Filthy Marcellos side by reading each book in this new series by Bethany-Kris. If you haven’t read The Russian Guns books, do yourself a favor and read them, as well. (This review is based on ARC provided by the author in exchange for an honest opinion.)
