Fire Moon is by far the best of the Alphas in the Wild Series. It can be read as a standalone book or in conjunction with it's other three partners. This book is filled with heartbreak, love, devotion, supernatural entities and plenty of magic. Cara and John must learn to trust each other and give themselves to each other completely if they are to stand a chance at saving the world. The plot is exciting, contains many twists and definitely keeps you on the edge of your seat. A must read, especially if you are an Ann Gimpel fan!

Love these suspenseful Mountain climbing stories with a touch of magic that Ms. Gimpel writes, they always manage to keep me on the edge of my seat. Cara had a very hard childhood and the only thing that keeps her routed are the mountains.. She is a mountain climbing guide and she's good at it, only now she is literally hanging from a ledge with the only client left during a horrible fire that is coming closer and closer. Things are starting to take a turn though and the goodlooking Doctor is starting to look better and better to her aside from acting strange. Little does Cara know that things are going to get even stranger and even she is going to start acting a little strange with the help of the good doctor who is starting to get under her skin literally and even in a good way. Dr. John Cassavettes has been avoiding his destiny as Shaman of the Sioux nation all his life, but looks like he is going to have to take his calling serious now. And he discovers that his beautiful mountain guide is more than meets the eye and he can't wait to see it. Will Cara accept the real John and what comes with him and if she doesn't will it be the end of humanity?

Cara is a mountain guide leading a group of people in the sierras when a fire starts raging but things go wrong. 2 people runs off on their own. IT'S only John and her now but the fire is more then a simple fire. It's magical creatures and there are fire dragons that want the earth for thier own. The more time the two are together, the closer they grow. Now its all or nothing battle for the earth! LOVE the action in this, it's amazing. Great characters with fantastic story backgrounds lol wait untill you met grandma lol. IT'S a solid story you can sink your teeth into. Magic fans you are going to love this one! Voluntary reviewed and I honestly loved it.

Fire Moon is the fourth book in the Alphas in the Wild series. It is a standalone with an HEA and no cliffhanger. There is violence and hot and steamy sex so definitely 18+. By the vivid descriptions, you can tell the author loves being outdoors and trekking in the mountains. I enjoyed reading this book and I think you will too. Wild fires are always a danger in the California mountains, but this time it is caused by magical creatures out to take over earth. John has tried to escape his heritage of being an Indian Shaman, but fate and the spirit guides have other plans for him. He can't avoid who and what he is any longer. Can he figure out his powers quickly enough so that he and his mountain climbing guide Cara survive and make it to safety?
