Overview

The Madrid Writers’ Club was founded in 2012 with the mission of helping writers achieve their writing goals. The club has run over 140 writing workshops and formed a vibrant community of English language writers in the heart of Spain. I’m proud to say that together we’ve created an atmosphere of mutual learning, support and respect where our writing and friendships flourish and grow.
This is the first short fiction anthology by members of the Madrid Writers’ Club.

Each of the ten stories are written to depict a main character travelling, either in flight or on a journey of self-discovery. Our authors hail from around the globe and are gathered here in their common love of writing stories.

About the Author

David Nevin is an Irish born writer living in Valencia, Spain. In 2012 he founded the Madrid Writers' Club and upon moving to Valencia in 2016 founded the Valencia Writing Factory. He is currently writing his third novel.

American journalist + writer. Now living in Europe.

David N Kelly is an Irish born writer living in Spain. With a background in physics and sales he writes science fiction and fairy tales.

I write literary fantasy, paranormal, and historical fiction. I'm also a language teacher and dancer/performing artist.

I've been inspired by writers such as Milan Kundera, Mary Shelley, Oscar Wilde, Voltaire, Herman Hesse, as well as mythology, fairy tales, and folklore. But most of all, the arts of conversation, music, film, the performing arts, and, well, life in general. :)

Arabdha is a digital native and victim of incessant thinking and wondering.When not found huddled over a novel or a laptop,she is painting,writing or boosting up the revenue of coffee shops around.
Currently Arabdha is a copywriter.She has been an engineer ,a marketeer,an entrepreneur and is prone to experimenting.Her favorite movie is Amelie,TV show is FRIENDS and music band is still Beatles.
