BARBARA DELINSKY

FIRST THINGS FIRST

From America's beloved storyteller, Barbara Delinsky, comes a classic novel of a woman on the hunt, a man on the run, and one thrillingly romantic hideaway…

Chelsea Ross is renowned for her success at locating missing children. But when a wealthy Boston socialite asks her to track down her 40-year-old son, Chelsea is thrown for a loop. The runaway "child" in question, Samuel Prescott London, is a powerful executive who's apparently gone AWOL south of the border. Posing as a tourist, Chelsea manages to find Sam in the outskirts of Cancun—hot, handsome, and happy to be far from the corporate rat race. Chelsea promised Sam's mother she'd bring him back home. But after a few days of playing tourist by his side—and spending nights in his arms—she's not so sure she's ready to give him up…

Enjoyed the references to the Mayan culture and locations in Mexico. A great book to read when you just want to enjoy the possibility going to a place where everything is vastly different from your day-to-day life and find romance.

Enjoyable characters and fun plot. While this storyline may be predictible, that does not detract from Delinsky's ability to tell the tale. If I had to hazard a guess, I would believe this to be one of her early works. Fun for wha it is.

The flow was awesome. I was a little concerned it might be overly sexual but before it reached predictable you pulled it back somewhat. The character studies and life events were sometimes shallow and rushed but the story was told. Overall a good read.

Short and sweert ro the end. Lots of surprises along the way but you can figure it out withiut having a genius mentality. Implicit in romantic sexulity if you enjoy that sort of thing. Worth a read!
