I just started listening to Blue October this year. 'Foiled' was the first album of their's that I bought and I loved it from the beginning. I went back and bought all the other albums (and the live DVD) they have out, and have had nothing but Blue October entering my ears for the last 3 months since we saw them live! All of their albums are wonderful and I absolutely love this band! My favorite is probably 'History For Sale', but 'Foiled comes highly recommended in my book.

The best band on the face of the planet, and my generation's Nirvana. I'm getting more than a little sick of all the incessant whining over Blue finally getting some recognition. For those who wail that they were better when they were starving indie artists, I recommend The Answers, Blue's first album, which, while very good and a personal favourite of mine, does not even come close to touching Foiled. So, the band's finally making it why rain on the parade? Perhaps mainstream blows (which it does), but even worse are 'purists', who turn on bands the minute their hard work pays off. As for me? I love the band, I love all 5 albums, and Justin Furstenfeld is a rock god. They pretty much own me.

This was my first Blue October cd. I usually buy a cd and only listen to one or two songs on it and that's it. I LOVE this whole cd. Justin writes from the heart. I highly recommend this cd to everyone!

This band has two of the most musical genuis's (singer & violinist), in todays music since David Gilmore(Pink Floyd), Peter Gabriel and Phil Collins. These guys are sure to make a difference in the way we hear music on todays radio and getting ready to take the world by storm!! Congrats to the guys after trying for 11 years to break through, the world is now yours for the taking. PH :)

on heavy rotation in CD player, from work, home, computer etc. the flow and rhythm of this album is crafted with an incredible ear and makes the time pass really quick. this is the first time i listen to Blue October, and i'm very impressed. there's a various range of emotions in this album. i felt like dancing, regretful, thoughtful, happy again... it is a rollercoaster album that i've enjoyed for the past week and a half. if you enjoy music, and appreciate the work that goes into the production of an album, you'll like this one.

If you are interested in Blue October because of their previous work, this is nothing like it. If you like Pink and Cher, buy this album. Clearly Universal has put their evil hands all over the production and messed it up royally. Whoever produced this should be fired. I don't know why they took Justin's 5591 stuff and decided to make it sound like poopy...but they did and succeeded. If you have seen them in concert or liked ANY of the previous work, CAUTION this is not like the music they used to make. This is a pop album, not rock. I want my money back!
