Full of pertinent info and inspired ideas for the dehydrator. A book every person with a dehydrator or wanting to dry food should have in their library.

We are enjoying this book and have used many of the recipes. It is a GOOD book for anyone who wants to eat healthy and enjoys taking the time to dry their food. A great book for hikers!!!

I recently entered the world of food drying and was looking for a book with more details and instruction. This book is just that yet it doesn't go overboard with explanations. It also had nice color pictures. I especially liked the fruit dying and jerky sections. I've used several of the recipes and ideas from this book and have been happy with all of them.

This is a wonderful book, full of ideas and beautiful pictures, meant for the home food preparer, although professional cooks can also enjoy the novel recipes and combinations. You don't have to know anything about food drying to use the book, because Mary Bell offers full information and many useful hints, all in a very lively fashion. I don't know where the title comes from, but I can tell you the author has a delightful attitude; you fall in love with her as well as the contents of the book!
