A heartwrenching story that brings an innocent little girl’s plight to life. Strong characters unite to help ease her trauma and learn truths about life and each other that will bring a closeness that both truly needed. It was great to see Julie again and see her working towards the healing she has so desperately deserved. Really enjoyed visiting The Lemonade Stand again! If you are familiar with the series, you might recognize Julie Fairbanks and remember the trauma that she suffered years ago that led her to restrict her life and how she lived it. With the support of her brother Colin and sister-in-law Chantel, she’s working hard to move forward and live again. In volunteering at The Lemonade Stand, she comes across 7 year old Joy who seems to identify with her and sets out on a path of getting her to a point of starting to heal. Event planner Hunter Rafferty has been asking Julie out for months now, but she turns him down every time. A happenstance connection between he and Joy has them sharing time together to ease the child’s turmoil, and shows her a side to him she didn’t know he had.
