I just finished the last in this series. This one dragged on much too long. The author needs to do more research on the rules and dialogue of this era. There were times it felt like Valley Girl speak.
But i enjoyed the diverse characters
She is an excellent writer, and now that the Henley siblings have found spouses, I'm ready to begin another of her series!
I had a hard time finishing this book. The writing felt simple and stilted. There were absolutely no redeeming qualities to the hero, either.
