I havent really read the entire book, but this book does bot impress me. Firstly, it literally says that claire is "cautious" of boys and her mothee taught her all this. Yet she completley falls head over heels for a boy she just met. I also dont like how the story completley revolves around the romance and relationship between them two. The other charcters are hardly mentioned. And claires back story is thrown around here and there. I also feel like the relationship is very rushed. No friendship at all. They basically run head first into subtle romance, which kind of irriates me. Claire, having been thrown around foster homes, gets unrealistically comfortable in her new foster home very quickly. I dont know much about foster homes or how children feel or adapt to their surroundings, but it seems to me as if she got very comfortable, as said before, in her new home very quick. Yes, she seemed weary the first day or two, but after that it was kick and lay back. I get that its normally a good thing to happen, but considering claires back story and the trauma she went through, it just doesnt fit right. Now as i said, i didnt read the full thing, but this is just what i think so far. Its so sickly sweet abd cheesy and 90% romance between teens. Not my cup of tea. Should have had more moments of claries past. I do not think i have any postive thoughts. The story is very basic and predictable. :( -Amyahue
