About the Author
His late father General Chung-An Young immigrated to the United States at an early age. During the Second World War, he responded to the summon of his motherland and returned to China. He graduated from the Central Flying Academy and later became a well-respected air battle hero in the Sino-Japanese War.
Chin-Wen Young graduated from the Chinese Air force academy in Taiwan and further completed his flying safety courses at the University of Southern California. He has served as a Fighter Pilot, Commander of Combat Operations, Section Commander and a member of the renowned "Thunder Tiger Acrobatic Team", and a Flying Safety Officer. He had flown different airplanes such as T-28, T-33, T-38, F-86, F-5A/B/E.
He moved to the United States after he was discharged from the army. He engaged in the field of restaurant, gas station, body shop and auto parts. Later he established his own import-export company specialized in marine products , sea food and gourmet food. Currently the business is going into its 30th year.
His outside interests include cooking, calligraphy, singing, golfing, swimming and most of all, writing.
