From the Judith to the Round Barn traces the story of "Indian John" from the assault by Delaware Indians on the family of his father, Peter Gluck, during the French and Indian War in 1756. Little Johnny, the sole survivor, grew up in an Amish home, and became progenitor of many, including Levi Glick, who established a flourishing dairy farm with a round barn in North Dakota.
