The book Gangland, written by Howard Blum, is a magnificent story of how the FBI broke the mob. I highly recommend Gangland for any one who enjoys reading about organized crime, FBI stories, or just plain suspenseful tales. Gangland is the real life account of what the FBI went through to catch John Gotti, the mob leader. This book tells of the FBI bugging in dangerous situations, moles in the FBI office, and how Gotti slips through the FBI¿s hands time and time again. Although this book is based on a true story, the writing does not lack vitality. This book is written as though it were fiction, because of the in depth look Blum gives you to everything. Howard Blum writes as though he were there, and makes you feel as though you are were there, too. The story of the mob and all its secrets and lies, sucks you in as you read this incredible story of how the FBI brought down the mob.
