About the Author

Leslie Little is the visionary Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Icon Images Inc. As an award-winning author, editor, designer and publisher Leslie combines her skills as a historian, cultural anthropologist and marketing expert to create museum-quality books. Leslie’s critically acclaimed first book, Paris Icons, took the publishing industry by storm in 2009 winning three international book awards including a Special Judges’ Distinction Gold Medal for “Most Outstanding Book Design of the Year.” Paris Icons also won Silver Medal for “Best Travel Essay of the Year” and Bronze Medal for “Best Coffee Table Book of the Year.” Leslie’s books are so unique they defy the traditional publishing categories and are seen by fans as true works of art. Icons unique formula combines history, literature and fine art photography, to identify the heart and soul of the books’ subject matter. Following on the success of Paris Icons, Ms. Little was commissioned by Georgetown University to create Georgetown Icons (published 2011) as a unique commemorative work capturing the majestic beauty and history of Georgetown University. A series of books on the world’s greatest cities is currently in development including London Icons and Rio Icons. Icon Images works by private commissions for universities and corporations to capture the distinctive essence of their brands.

Icon Images’ premiered its line of gift products and stationary in 2012. Ms. Little is a frequent global speaker and is privately commissioned for all her work. In addition to Paris Icons and Georgetown Icons, she has published two biographies and is currently working on her first screenplay.

Ms. Little has a an MBA cum laude from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley and a BA cum laude from Georgetown University in International Relations & Honors History. Prior to founding Icon Images, Leslie spent her 25-year corporate career in London as a partner & strategy consultant at Egon Zehnder International and Towers Perrin. Prior to that she was UK Managing Director for Vanguard and Vice President- Europe for Wells Fargo Nikko Investment Advisors (now Blackrock). She has worked and travelled extensively across Europe, Africa and Asia which gives her plenty of material for her writing career.
