Evelyn Eibhlin narrates a fun Highland fling. On vacation in Europe with her best friends, Cassie Crow wants to hook up with a foreign hottie. Logan Reid wants to take his career to the next level by moving from his web series to a TV show. This story calls for accents. Logan is Scottish; his best friend, Theo, is British; and there are several Scottish secondary characters. Eibhlin’s accents are weak and inconsistent. Where she is highly successful is in her portraits of Cassie and her four friends. She creates distinct vocal personalities for all of them, smoothly establishing the banter and rapport of their long-standing relationship. Overall, this is an enjoyable listen.
