About the Author

I love writing. I always have. Writing was my favorite subject in school. For years I wrote my own greeting cards instead of buying them. I’ve written numerous songs that we sing at church. And after raising four boys, working at elementary schools, and now enjoying two beautiful granddaughters, I have a lot to write about. Growing up in Northwest Ohio surrounded by my family, I am truly blessed to watch them grow and live their lives. They are my inspiration. It’s such a joy doing something you love to do and doing it with people you love.

I love to hear you giggle. I love to watch you laugh,

As you put your hands together and clap, clap, clap!

You always make me smile with the silly sounds you make.

And I just can't help but laugh at the faces you create.

So as you keep on growing and get bigger everyday

I hope the giggles and the laughs never go away.

I love to see you smile, each and every day From ear to ear, that precious grin, I hope will never fade.

Your eyes, they seem to sparkle, as you giggle and you laugh.

Like you're splashing and you're playing when it's time to take your bath.

All the little things you say and the silly things you do, Make me SMILE from ear to ear, because of how much I love you!
