Gkiak

The collection "Gkiak" is the most famous work to date by the young Greek writer Dimosthenis Papamarkos. The book offered to the reader's attention is the first experience of translating the entire collection of short stories. Now not only the writer's compatriots, but also the Russian-speaking audience can hear the stories of the heroes of Papamarkos who returned from the Greco-Turkish war of 1919-1922 and are trying to comprehend this experience.
