I love this book and its specific, healthy language. The emphasis on talking without shame while also setting boundaries without shame is wonderful. Highly recommend to parents, teachers, and others who frequently interact with children and want to explore safe, clear ways of talking about this difficult subject.

God Made All of Me takes a subject that can be difficult or uncomfortable to discuss with children and makes it easy. It focuses on how bodies are special and prepares children to have some defenses in place if they ever face a situation of sexual abuse. It sets some rules down for children and parents. It also has some tips at the end for parents to help protect their children. The statistics are staggering, stating that "one in four women and one in six men have been or will be sexually assaulted in their lifetime." Hopefully this book can help parents help their children not become a part of that statistic. The pictures and text were very well done, allowing children to easily connect and understand the messages. A great resource and way to open a discussion with children to hopefully prevent sexual abuse. Highly recommended for parents of young to grade-school-aged children.
