5 Star Review Going Deep (Divemasters Book 2) by Jayne Rylon This is the second book in the newest series Divemasters from Jayne Rylon and I was excited to read this one. I thoroughly enjoyed the first book so was anxious to see what happens next. This is Miguel Torres and Sabine Reynolds story. The only thing that took me back a little was that Miguel and Sabine got together so fast but then this is a fiction story. However, when attraction and passion is instantaneous it seems it is impossible to resist. Sabine with the help of her mentor’s wife, Sabine is determined to take up where he left off in his search for a cure for an aggressive form of cancer after he was killed in what has been reported as a tragic accident. Miguel is anxious to assist her both professionally and personally. “Sometimes families are made of the people you choose, not the ones you’re born with” – That is at the heart of this series, that family is not always blood related. Family is who you choose to have in and surrounding you; often it is those friends who become your family and that shone through in this book just as much as in the first in the series. I have to say that the secondary characters of Banks and Captain Alex are so intriguing that I would love to learn more about them and hopefully more details come to light in the next book. As far as I am aware this is a 3 book series, but I love it so much I do hope that Ms. Rylon decides to extend it. If I closed my eyes, I could almost envisage that I was in Hawaii as the descriptions of the places they visit came alive to me whilst I was reading. I really felt at times that I could see what they were seeing. Ms Rylon’s real life love of diving obviously plays an important part in this series. I admit that I would love to be invited aboard The Divemaster. Oh the fun I could have with all the Divemasters. The chemistry between Miguel and Sabine was scorching. This book was not only hot with Miguel helping Sabine to explore her naughtier and more taboo fantasies, but the suspense and danger that Sabine finds herself in, made for a thoroughly enjoyable read. Will Miguel be able to keep Sabine safe or will it all be in vain? One click now to find out!!!

When Sabine's mentor is killed in a suspicious lab fire at the height of a discovery that could change many lives, she decides that she will take this project on herself and finish where he left off. She feels she owes at least that much to him for all he has done for her. She boards the Divermasters boat for the underwater research that is necessary and critical to her research and meets Miguel, one of the Divemasters. He is assigned to assist her during the underwater dives, an assignment he is more than happy to fulfill. Sabine and Miguel have chemistry and a common bond. Their mentor, the one man that affected both of their lives and changed their futures. With the two of them working together, will they be able to finish the Professor's research and help change many lives, or is it lost forever? Will these two find happiness or are they drawn together only until the research project is over. You will have to read it to find out the answer to these questions and more. I really enjoyed this book, which is part 2 of the 3 part series of the Divemasters. Jayne Rylon is a great writer who is very knowledgeable about scuba diving and the islands written about in the book. With her narration, you can just picture everything in your mind. If you haven't read a book by Jayne Rylon, what are you waiting for?

A tender, caring, loving dom. A scientist who embraces her submissive side, along with some danger and heartache make for an easy spicy read.

Just one look at the cover of this book, and you know you're in for some yummy, sexy, good reading. Just the name Jayne Rylon assures that alone, nevermind the sexy Adonis on the cover. Her books have been a staple in my e-reader since they have first started coming out, and unless she stops writing them, (perish the thought!) they will always be in my TBR list. I fell in love with this series with the first book when we read about Archer and Waverly's romance and hot, kinky sex in Going Down. This time, we are treated to Miguel and Sabine's story. Miguel is the hot, South American, Divemaster that is assigned by Banks to help Dr Sabine Reynolds with her sample collections and research. She is picking up on an experiment where her mentor left off of. Her mentor was suddenly killed in a lab explosion, and Sabine watched it all happen, not at all sure it wasn't an accident. Miguel takes to Sabine immediately, and Sabine to Miguel as well. It's not long before the fireworks fly between them, and the scenes between them are hotter than the Hawaiian sun. But someone doesn't want Sabine to complete her work. What lengths will they go to stop her? You need to pick up a copy and find out. As usual, this book is right off the hotness meter. Jayne writes some of the most sizzling sex scenes out there, and you would be crazy not to grab this up. I couldn't put it down!

Three SCUBA instructors, who happen to be sexual dominants, are about to take the ultimate plunge. If you’re extraordinarily lucky, you’ll be invited to join them on The Divemaster, where work and pleasure go hand in hand. Welcome aboard! When her mentor is killed in a lab fire, all his notes destroyed with him, marine biologist Sabine Reynolds is determined to finish his work—a cure for an aggressive form of cancer. She needs a specific coral to continue. To find it, she boards The Divemaster to search the waters around Hawaii. Crewmember Miguel Torres helps facilitate the collection…and brings out a sensual side of Sabine she hadn’t known existed. In the warm tropical waters, she discovers fascinating things about herself and the taboo fantasies she’d never experienced before meeting the sexy guide, who isn’t afraid to take charge during their daytime, and nighttime, adventures. The Divemaster crew come face-to-face with danger in the form of rival researchers, who’ll stop at nothing to ensure their success at Sabine’s expense. Sabotage, theft, kidnapping, murder, whatever it takes to produce—and profit from—the cure first. Can Miguel keep Sabine safe and by his side? Or will her enemies put a stop to her research…permanently? Review: This series is getting better and better! Miguel is now my favorite Divemaster. He is all alpha male and fan your panties hot. Sabine is great too. She is a take action kind of girl, not afraid of her sexuality, but earthy too. They are combustible together from first meeting and both go for the attraction they are feeling towards each other. Of course Jayne comes up with new and unique BDSM equipment. I loved the plot and setting of the story. I have a special fondness for Hawaii stories since I lived there for a few years and so want to go back. So reading Jayne's rich descriptions of the islands gives me a quick fix. The plot of searching for a cure for cancer and looking for items in nature that can do it, I thought was rather timely and very realistic. Besides all the sexy goodness and science, there is a mystery in this story too. Someone killed Sabine's mentor and now they are after her. The action part was pretty much contained to the last quarter of the book, but it was intense and had me on the edge of my seat. The first three-quarters of the book centers around Miguel's and Sabine's budding relationship and the continuing of Sabine's mentors research. Great second book in the series and I cannot wait to see what happens in Toisin's story. 5Stars *I received a copy of this book from the Author in exchange for a fair and honest review.*

Don't waste your money. Predictable story line and not very steamy.

“Going Deep” is the second book in Jayne Rylon’s “Divemasters” series, and it was fantastic. This book focuses on Miguel, a carefree, scuba instructor turned newly-minted billionaire, a man trying to reconcile his good fortunes with where he came from, and Sabine (I just love her name), a marine biologist who just lost her mentor and surrogate father in a terrible accident (or was it?) and is hoping to finish his work. This was a quick and fun, sexy story with a few twists and turns. I loved the ending and watching the characters develop - especially those introduced in the first book, “Going Down.” I am looking forward to Book 3! *I was given an advanced copy of this story in exchange for an honest review.

Miguel Torres, part owner and member of The Divemaster crew meets his perfect woman, in this exciting sensuous romance. Miguel awakens the passion in biologist, Sabine Reynolds, who is searching for a cancer cure in the coral reefs in Hawaii but will he be able to save her from the dangerous forces that are out to stop her, and will he be left with a broken heart if she decides to walk away? This is a great follow up to Going Down, the first book of the series. This book is a steamy read with some action and suspense and I really enjoyed it. I was provided with a free copy of this book in return for an honest review.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review... ****Spoiler alert this is book #2 in the series I would strongly suggest reading book #1 first.***** Past meets present in the strangest ways. Miguel had no idea that his old friend was the catalyst for the best adventure of his life. Heinrich was a German scientist and on to a great discovery when he suddenly he died in a tragic laboratory accident. Sabine, the woman he mentored and his confidant, decided to pick up the trail of his hunt for the great mystery. Luck would have it Banks has offered her the Divemasters to her as a safeguard for her research. She has no idea the connection to Miguel or the attraction that she is about to face. Will her work suffer? Can she have both the Great discovery and a Great Attraction? Where will it lead?

Hot, Hot HOT! You need to go deep to cool off! Jayne Rylon keeps getting better and better. The book made me cry, made me laugh and honestly made me jump my hubby. He's really happy after I read a Divemaster book. Sabine loses her mentor in the beginning of the book. Turns out, he's acquainted with a divemaster. The small world thing from real life happening in a book anyone? I loved the premise of this story, and it didn't let me down. I encourage everyone to read this one, but if you haven't read Book one, Archer's story, it would be a good place to start. This book IS a stand alone with a HEA but you will get more out of it if you read book one first.

4.5 Stars This is the second book in the Divemasters series and I enjoyed this more then the first one. That's saying something because the first book was great. Miguel intrigued me in Going Down and I couldn't wait to read his story. I was hooked right from the start. Sabine brings a lot to the story as well. There are delightful little surprises along the way. This gives you a little of everything passion, heat, sadness, and suspense. The heat level is high just like in Going Down. The connection between Miguel and Sabine is very strong which takes this one over the top. Can't wait for the next one.

Lace’s Review: Going Deep was a fast paced read that held desire, intrigue and tons of fun from the beginning until the end. Miguel is considered to be one of the best diver’s around, so when Banks asked him to step up to the plate and become whatever this scientist needed; he considered it a grueling task. However, this scientist has a few secrets of her own, one of them being she’s drop dead gorgeous. Sabine is beyond brilliant, but can having too much knowledge be a good thing or will it be the death of her and her new found friends? Sabine lost the man who she considered to be a parent; however, his death holds as much knowledge as secrets. Can Sabine and her team find all the answers she’s been searching for to ease her mind? There is no doubt that Miguel and Sabine are hot for each other, but what I enjoyed was how perfectly matched they were for one another. Miguel and Sabine were people who lived for the moment, which was what made their connection so unique. Ms. Rylon did an amazing job of finding Miguel the perfect love interest, but will being from different sides of the tracks work against them? The supporting characters were as marvelous as they were in the first book of the Dive Masters Series. Banks, Archie, Waverly, Tobin and Captain Alex were all characters I’d like to see more of, but I would enjoy seeing Captain Alex and Banks find a love interest of their own. There was a new characters introduced, such as Marta, who I hope to see in the remaining books. {hint…hint} The team found themselves in yet another sticky situation by finding a cure. The only question that remains is whether or not they’ll come out of this situation breathing? Ms. Rylon’s writing style is what keeps me coming back to her books again and again. Going Deep and the Dive Master Series are no exceptions in regards to the depth of her writing skills. The plot was engaging and full of knowledge with a few heart racing moments. I would like to know how close to the truth the purple algae information is? The scenery sounds breathtaking as Jayne Rylon describes Hawaii in vivid, descriptive, beautiful detail that brings the island to life for me, even though I’m sitting in my living room. Rated 5 Ravens and a Recommended Read by Lace!
