About the Author

David Gary grew up in Basingstoke before joining the Royal Navy. He served for ten years in the Writer branch, after which he worked for local government. His time in local government ended in Taunton, where he and his wife had also run a smallholding and a local village store. He studied at the Universities of Exeter and Plymouth to gain an MBA. He then went to live in Spain for eight years where he wrote his first novel, Sin or Salvation, under the pen name of 'Scribes'. He now lives in Gosport.
