Siobhán Maguire is a young Irish indentured servant for a wealthy British family, the Schelldens, during the 1830's. Siobhán suffers internally as she grieves the loss of her family in Ireland and is forced into a life of servant-hood from a young age. The Schelldens move to Northern Georgia during the time of a gold rush and Siobhán happens to meets a young Cherokee boy, Atohi. Atohi helps Siobhán grieve the loss of her beloved family and help remind her of the traditions she grew up with....
