Sports Illustrated scores a goal with this Hockey themed Bedtime book. Being a Canadian, hockey is our national past time, I loved this rhyming story. With terms like "hat trick" and "slap shot" being used and defined by the wonderful illustrations, it will even teach non-hockey fans a little about the game. In the story a family is at the arena watching the local team play. Of course they win the game and the family goes home happy. The little boy is put to bed in his hockey themed bedroom to have his own hockey dreams. The rhyming cadence of the story is great and I can see this book being demanded to be read over and over by my grandson. Thanks to Netgalley and Capstone Press for the opportunity to read and review this book.
