About the Author

Serge INSAS has spent a whole part of his life manufacturing sound equipment for professional audio recording. Using 8 bit microcontrollers and analog electronics did not lead him to JavaScript, but his curiosity and the need to simplify some day-to-day tasks ignited his desire to explore the language.

After a few months of trial and error, he began to use his new skills to help others on the Google Apps script forum and quickly became a Google Top Contributor. He has developed enough expertise to use Google Apps Script in many aspects of his life.

Presently, he works for a cinema upper school in Belgium and a great part of this job is to create and maintain all the IT tools they use.
