About the Author

Josh Cuny is a fan of horror and an author. Born and raised in Indiana, Josh became a huge fan of horror movies at a young age being first introduced to the genre through the old Universal monster movies. “Any good horror story forces us to confront our own fear and insecurities that we deal with in everyday life. The villain is merely a metaphor that represents those fears and insecurities. Through the protagonist of the story, we go on a journey to conquer those things that ail us.”
Josh believes in character driven stories where the reader can connect on some level with the protagonist(s). “In horror as the antagonist is important to develop, having protagonists that the reader can relate to and emphasize with is equally if not even more important. When those characters are in danger or in peril, that’s where the horror is.” His stories will sometimes contain some social commentary that is designed to make the reader to examine the world we live in through the characters’ own experiences.
The author is willing to delve into all sub- genres of horror.
