About the Author

USA TODAY Bestselling author Chris Keniston's love of a good story and frustration with the end of a well known author's romance best seller, drove her to pen her own works of romance and fiction.

Her romantic women's fiction novels include a variety of themes from international settings dealing with wealthy millionaires, family feuds and tropical beaches, to the relationships between family and friends in small town Texas, and to sisterhood and friendship in the award winning novel The Champagne Sisterhood.

Currently working on the contemporary romance Aloha Series, Chris Keniston is enjoying playing with her former military heroes. Using popular themes of small towns and sandy beaches blended with stories of the single dad, survivors guilt, an accidental wedding and more is making the Aloha Series a reader's choice.

A native New Yorker, Chris Keniston was on her way to Australia when she fell in love with North Texas. Little did she know the balmy seventy degree October days would turn into fry-an-egg-on-the-sidewalk heat in August!

Author of more than a dozen contemporary novels, including a finalist for the prestigious Golden Heart Award, Chris lives in suburban Dallas with her husband, two human children, and two canine children. Though she loves her puppies equally, she admits being especially attached to her German Shepherd rescue named Gunny. After all, even dogs deserve a happily ever after.

From the first book in this series, 'Adam,' I've been in love with the Farraday family. But as the books have progressed, they have been losing something! The first several books were both heart rending and exciting with tears and fears in every chapter, but the most recent books, including 'Hannah', are lacking in both the depth of feelings and the height of excitement! Now don't get me wrong! I enjoyed this book and I've pre-ordered the next! But other books in this series left me blubbering like a baby one minute and gasping in fear the next! This book, on the other hand, kept my interest but I didn't need a single tissue and there wasn't any real danger until the very end! And the mystery dogs didn't make an appearance until well past the half way point in the story! Anyway, while not up to the same standards as the other books in this series, this was still a good story. I just hope the author gets back on track as she goes forward - and I pray she goes forward! However, I think as long as Aunt Eileen doesn't change, I'll probably remain a fan! Hmm.... Do you supposed I could talk her into adopting me? Just saying!

I love the Farradays and the animals, dogs and horses. It is great to read good clean fiction.

I love how the story continues with the mystery dog(s) and is expanding to the Farraday cousins. Very enjoyable story even if a little short.

Just enough suspense to keep me flipping the pages. I love the Faraday family's humor, respect and love for each other. Waiting impatiently for Ian to be published.

Enjoyed every page in this book! The strong family bonds, everyone pitching in to support each other’s efforts and the intrigue surrounding “the stranger” who entered the picture. Great story!

Loved the characters, storyline and good reading of this book. Only complaint was that it was too short.

Hannah had mystery, suspense and romance. It was enjoyable and drew you in to desire to read more in the series. It was refreshing to have a really enjoyable book without overt sex. Chris puts the right mix in her book to give you a "feel good vibe" at the end and a desire for the next book!

I have enjoyed reading the series, love the humor. One problem with this particular book. The fact that in the book about Grace we heard about DJ's ex-partner Dale being in an accident and the talk about some of the family met him when he came to the ranch a couple of times, now nobody recognizes him. When you write a series you have to remember what you wrote previously or it could turn a person off.

Starts in the middle and gets to the end with decent characters. May help to have read previous books in series.

I loved this book! It was like a chatty visit with your best friend and boy does she have something to tell you! It is a sweet, clean romance with a cop twist. I think I'll be visiting this author again.

This is the first book I have read from this author. It was free and had a couple of things going for it that snagged my interest. Number one was the intrigue and mystery of a violent crime that had to be solved while the principal cop was on the run. Second, I live in San Antonio and am very familiar with the Texas Hill Country. I throughly enjoyed the book and plan to purchase more. The author nailed ranching families and the characters in small town Texas. Good job.

Well written plot. Didn't want to put it down until finished.
