Hardback (B&N Exclusive Edition) (B&N Game of the Month)

Hardback is my family’s favorite word game. It combines the simple gameplay of laying letter cards to form words with the challenge of choosing the best new letters to purchase and add to your deck. Each game starts similarly, with players getting 8 of the same starter cards. But as the game progresses, your never know which of the 140 new letter cards will enter into gameplay. The push your luck element of dealing additional cards into your hand adds to the complexity. Will the reward be worth the risk? The word theme makes Hardback a very unique deckbuilder. And the deckbuilding aspect make it a very unique word game.
