About the Author

Marguerite Kaye has written almost sixty historical romances featuring feisty heroines and a strong sense of place and time. She is also co-author with Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, of two Sunday Times bestsellers, Her Heart for a Compass and A Most Intriguing Lady. Marguerite lives in Argyll on the west coast of Scotland. When not writing, she loves to read, cook, garden, drink martinis, and sew, though rarely at the same time.
When Virginia Heath was a little girl it look her ages to fall asleep, so she made up stories in her head to pass the time while she was staring at the ceiling. As she got older, the stories became more complicated, sometimes taking weeks to get to the happy ending. Then one day, she decided to embrace the insomnia and start writing them down. Over thirty books and four Romantic Novel of the Year Award nominations later, it still takes her forever to fall asleep.
Sarah Mallory grew up in the West Country, England, telling stories. She moved to Yorkshire with her young family but after nearly 30 years living in a farmhouse on the Pennines, she has now moved to live by the sea in Scotland.  Sarah is an award-winning novelist with more than twenty books published by Harlequin Historical . She loves to hear from readers and you can reach her via her website at: www.sarahmallory.com
