This series just keeps getting better. I think Eve and Blackie were well matched. I love couples that are sweet together, and since I believe in love at first sight, their romance was perfect for me. I also like the way the author tied up many of Blackies past mistakes, and invited some of her past characters back into this book so we could get a peek at how they are doing. She also introduced or refreshed our memories of several hotties to look forward to in future books. With the introduction of Eve and her sisters exsistence, this book opened the possibilies of many new genetically engineered humans. I am excited to see where she plans to take this series. She has slowly over the last few books made the cyborgs take a look at their way of living, and I love their evolving society. ***Potential spoiler**** I loved the ending of this book. I look forward to continuing Gene and Danica's adventure, and am excited that Sky sounds like he is going along for the ride.

I expected more than 170 pages for $6 plus dollars. The story was good and introduced a new line of characters but it fell short of the other books. Just don't know what happened here. It was not really all that exciting to me. Maybe the next one, I'm going to wait for the reviews first though....

Love this series, was glad when author finally wrote another cyborg book, its been quite a while, wish book had been longer, but was still very good. Had to read it in one sitting--could not put it down (so again its getting light outside and I am still up--good thing I do not have work today since its almost time to be up and going--instead I am just now heading for bed). Hope her next in this series comes out this year!

I enjoyed the book, but was disappointed it is so much shorter than previous works. It felt a bit rushed.

As posted on The Smutty Kitty reviewed by Jelly Kitty 4 out of 5 Licks Haunting Blackie is the eighth Cyborg book, and I really recommend they be read in order, it was nice to get more of the background on the whole escape from Earth part. I also loved some of the new twists added to the series. Blackie and Eve were refreshing because there wasn’t a lot of time spent trying to convince Eve to love a Cyborg. She knows what he is, and is all on board with loving him. It was nice to Blackie fall in love, especially since in past books he’s been a bit of a jerk. With the new twists, the story keeps up the same fast pace I’ve come to expect from the series, and I also loved the little bit of a secondary romance between Gene and Eve’s sister Danica. Eve gets major points for being a seriously capable and strong heroine. Possessive and very Alpha males than Blackie is a great hero. This is definitely a great story, and I will keep an eye out for the next Cyborg story. I really love the futuristic and character driven stories.

I have read every book in this series. Laurann Dohner does a great job with the "visuals" as well as the Characters. You can most definitely see the locations and landscapes in her books. Can't wait for other works from her.

I've read all of Dohner's books in this series, and this is a nice addition to it. The writing is still fairly stilted and lacks a certain elegance, but that's typical of the author. She's added a new subspecies, one that makes sense and diversifies the textures of the Cyborg Seduction universe, so that should make fans happy.

This is a character that i was looking forward to reading his story. I must say that the introduction of a new species that is a cyborg i guess was different to say the least. Blakie was an interesting character and I don't think enough was really explained in this book. My biggest disappointment was the book was just to short. I have always enjoyed her work, and still do, but she always developed the story and made each page worth reading. This was a wham bang thank you. that being said it was very good short story and I always look forward to her books.

This book was wonderful. Worth every dime of my 6$ even with only 170 pages. It was action packed, sexy and hilarious, one of my faves. I can't wait for the next in this series. I get disappointed in most authors the more I read them because it can be too much of the same. I have not gotten bored with this author yet. I read all her new species series as well. Keep up the good work.
