Hegel Offers a Philosophy of History

Hegel looked at all the thinkers before him and noticed a history of philosophy. But he also noticed that there was no philosophy of history. Hegel fixed all that with his dialectic idealism. To Hegel, human history is the unfolding of God. We work things out by thesis, antithesis, and synthesis. We keep getting better and we keep solving more and more problems.
